Hi there,
I can't get Lego Indy 1 running on Vista Ultimate SP2.
The game doesn't crash and the audio seems ok, but video drops out very quickly if it comes up at all.

I've just done an update on DirectX End-User Runtime (June 2010) to no effect. I have an ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series graphics card.

Are Steam games bound to a particular version of DirectX?

Any pointers appreciated! Many thanks.

I had the same problem on windows 7. Did some searching and found that this seems to be a common problem.

I read that i could change my desktop resolution to 800x600. I dunno for sure if this is needed. I found that as soon as i started the game, i would get opening screen, but as soon as the menu came up, i would only get a blank screen.

If i alt-tab out of this screen, and then atl-tab back i would be able to see the main menu. If i tried to play the game, or quit and come back into the game, i would get the same blank screen.

So after getting the main menu back i went into video settings, then changed enahcned graphics to off, i was able to play the game with no problems.

This got the game working for me at all resolutions. I hope it fixed it for everyone else.
