well, they added a special car and jacket for us.. so it wouldnt be hard to imagine a level achievement or something atleast

well the original tdu did have achievements in the game... so i think there will be achievements in the 2nd one just not on steam just in game instead

umm... achievements should be restricted as "console" things.. just because it originates from a console doesn't mean it doesn't belong on a PC. Just like how FPS games are on Consoles, some one saw that FPS games don't JUST have to stick to Keyboard + Mouse.

Yes Achievements are still preferred on consoles because they work better on them with all that level stuff and gamerscores, just like how FPS game are still better on a Keyboard + Mouse.

EXTRA:
If the ends up being a steamworks game than Steam Achievements are pretty much gonna be there, you don't have to care about them but it comes with the Steamworks package.

Seems Destra doesn't know either, guess we'll just have to wait and see. I take back my previous message, I now could see how they would work and would love for them to be integrated for Steam players.

Checkout the Shogun 2 total war pre prder, they already has achievements as included on the store page, whereas TDU2 store page has not.

Just because some other random game has achievements that doesn't make it relevant to whether TDU2 will or won't.

Maybe Atari just haven't got around to adding them yet.

Well if I go to the store page now, it shows that the game has 57 achievements, one of which is called "Mummy", which I think you get when you get plastic surgery :D

Sometimes they don't show up though, but it seems when typing test drive unlimited in the search box and clicking on the game it shows up.

I'm so pleased they've been added, as like many other games with achievements added prior to their release you won't be able to view them in full detail until actual release.
