Requires a CD?

I have seen a few threads that deal with this issue.

I have verified the integrity of the game cache. It says that 1 file fails, but downloads the required file, and it still asks for a CD.

I have also tried patching the game, and cracking the game (can't find the exe files to swap).

Is there a way to actually talk to Steam about this? Or does anyone know another way to fix this.

So, I contacted Steam and they told me that I should remove any CDs that I had in my optical drive.

I did and it works just fine now.
