Just bought this game off the sale, as many have. I have encountered several problems, though. First off, the textures in the menus and loading screen and some in-game are complete screwy. Some are chopped up versions of what should be there, but most are just pixelized chaos.

I tried to play the game anyway, assuming this was only a problem with the menu graphics. However, in the character creation screen, there were problems with the menu textures as well and the icons were weird too. The only way to proceed as to accept my character, but at the next loading screen, the game just kept loading and loading and loading. Nothing happened, but it didn't crash.

Can anyone help?

That could be the problem. Probably the stupidest question ever asked here - How can you see which drivers you are using/running?

You can check it up from the control panel (if any) of your driver. Usually you'd find this from the programs running down left on the taskbar. For ATI there would be a cataclyst control cencer from where you could find that information, probably a similar on Nvidia cards.

If you don't know if your drivers are up-to-date, I'd guess they aren't!
Simply go and download the driver and follow the instructions, it's very straightforward.

For ATI go here - http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
For Nvidia go here - http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

As if! Now, if you had asked whether you should get a bus or taxi driver, then maybe we could do some searches to see if it was the stupidest question... ;)

I think the best way to check your drivers is to run DxDiag.exe (DirectX Diagnostics). On Vista/Windows 7 you can just type DxDiag in your search and it should come up fast. On XP, I think you can just type DxDiag.exe in your Run box and it should start. Go to the second tab and you'll see your driver version and date.
