tutorial broken?

when it says to place the elementary school on the yellow grid it's impossible to do so because the grid is headed wrong way.

Try nudging your mouse around a little, it should get it oriented the right way.

no it's wrong no matter what i do. it gets correct in some places but not inside the grid.

is there some hotkey to rotate currently selected building? i tried rotating the view and it does not change this ..

it seems like nearby road does affect the orientation but there is no way to build anything except what tutorial wants.

not that i cant play without tutorial, i just want to complete it to see if I missed something :)

Home and End keys rotate buildings for you to place them as you wish.
