Let me first say thank you for patching in controller support, this will help make it more accessible to more people.

I am having trouble configuring it to work though. I have gone into the gamepad.data file and have all the buttons assigned, and the left joystick all working. I cannot get the right joystick assigned right, or the analog triggers to work as buttons. I tried several different numbers, and was only able to get the Y axis assigned to axis 2. Even though it assigned, it moved the cursor very slowly on the screen.

Rather than the right joystick moving the cursor, can you have it just rotate the ship to the direction pushed? Can you also make that fire the bullets instead of pushing a button. While I appreciate the update, I do not think this direct conversion of the M&KB controls to the current controller scheme will lend itself well to this game because it will take a long time for you to flip your ship around. I have tried doing this with Pinnacle Profiler, and found it to be unusable because of the game's speed and quick reaction time.

Sorry McChadworth, i've been busy as all hell with the runtime error.

I'm rewriting a lot of the controller to support it. I'm going to add a section that comes up asking about keys and saving them ( on keypad press ).

The control scheme will also change.

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry if I sounded terse earlier. People on my friends list are complaining because I was repeatedly opening and closing the game to check if I got the controls to work, and it kept spamming their screen with steam announcements. If you are building the controller assignments into a menu, I'm sure they will thank you too.
