TOV/Mac: game fails to launch

Hi guys,

I'm attempting to run TOV on a Mac running 10.6.4, it loads to the menu fine, when I click new game it displays the options etc, but when the actual game itself tries to launch I just get the mouse cursor over a black screen. Same thing happens in windowed mode, no picture or sound at all.

Also, I played the original Deathspank right through without a hitch (albeit a fair bit of overheating) if that makes any difference.

Anyone? Alternatively, is there a support site I can create a ticket on? I know bugs happen, but at this point I've paid money for something which does nothing and I don't even know where to start on getting help for it, not sure what the process for that is on steam...

If DS worked, TOV should as well. Email support and let's see what we can do for you. Have you tried reinstalling from Steam? Sometimes the install gets screwy.

Well reinstalling didn't help, but apparently forgetting about it for a week and trying again after the next steam client patch did. All working now, cheers dudes. ^_^

I am now getting that problem. The weird thing is that I played ToV yesterday. I reinstalled it and have the problem that doesn't allow me to play it. The app appears to not be responding.

EDIT:
Okay so I was quitting Steam, and it told me files were syncing. It seems that there was a crash or error with ToV syncing somehow. The game just started working with a reboot of Steam. I also did uninstall Revenge of the Titans as it is not released yet for mac (but they allow us to DL it?!?) well it stated working so it seems to be a problem with ToV and syncing with steam.
