When I go to launch Shank, a window comes up full screen, then closes.
I am trying to get this game to run on my netbook. I know it's not the same as a desktop, however, if I meet the spec's it should still run.
I did some looking around and found that the issue I am experiencing is the same if I had a processor that doesn't support SSE2. With that I did a search to see if my netbook supports that. Game Requirements
OS: Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 running at 1.7 GHz or Greater; Athlon 64 running at 1.7GHz or greater with support for SSE2 instructions
Memory: 1 GB of ram, 1.5 GB (Vista and Windows 7)
Hard Disk Space: at least 2 GB of free HD space
Video Card: ATI Radeon X1800 GTO 256MB and the Nvidia GeForce 6800 Ultra 256MB cards
DirectX®: DirectX9 Jun 2010
My Specs
OS: XP SP3
Processor: Intel Atom N270 / 1.6 GHz
Memory: 1 GB of ram
Hard Disk Space: 160GB of space
Video Card: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150
DirectX®: DirectX10
The only things I can see here is I'm 1.66GHz and this requires 1.7GHz or my video card is just not enough (It can run World or warcraft though).
Any thoughts?
