BC2V framerate

Has anyone noticed that the Vietnam framerate is a lot better than BC2. I get an unusually low framerate running BC2 (Crysis on high runs smoother than BC2 on low in multiplayer) but with Vietnam it's not such a problem.

I think the biggest impact to performance is having destructible buildings. I've noticed that in vanilla BC2, even looking at a bunch of buildings that are destructible (even if they haven't been damaged) drops my framerate. Since Vietnam doesn't have much destruction, its performance is much better.

Same thing with MoH.

There are no destruction 2.0 buildings in it as I understand. One's that are collapsible.

i had horrible performance in bc2 with my old p4 3ghz, while other shooters like dods or cod4mw1 ran smoothly at highest details. so I agree bc2 really strains the system, especially the processor
