Invalid CD Key while trying to join a server in Black Edition

Hello,

I just tried to join a server in the Black Edition of Painkiller, and the few ones I've connected told me that my CD Key was detected as invalid.

Is there a fix, or something to do? Looks like Doom 3 CD Key bug, but I didn't have it on this game...

I think a possible fix might be to go into the multiplayer > player settings menu and delete/blank out the stars in the cdkey field and restart the game or something. What's the folder name of your painkiller black game located in steamapps/common? Just curious.

Found a solution on PKZone forums. I'm not sure I say it, it does not seem "legal", but at least I can now play multiplayer.
