Physical Copy

If I buy a physical copy of DCUO do I have to register it through Steam? For some reason I'd just rather have this separate from my Steam account.

Even bought on Steam its seperate, once you have activated the key on the station launcher its downloadable directly from Sony, same as Planetside etc.

Dont need a physical copy.
