buddy keys?

I know some mmos they give you trial keys for your friends, does DCUO have these? If so anyone out there have an extra trial key for me or others on this forum that are interested in the game:):)

My understanding is there is a buddy key if you purchase a physical copy of the game. It's a 10 day trial, not bad. I would've went to the store had I known ahead of time, but that said I also don't know how true this is either.
