PvP or PvE server ? and server population THX

Hello ive just bought the game and am downloading now and wondering whats the best server to go on ? I do like pvp a lot i love pvp in Rift Beta, WoW, Warhammer online and many other similar MMO'S so how does the open world pvp fare on this ? is it really fun and load sof teamwork or just gankers who anoy the crap out of you and camp you while questing ? thanks a lot for your detailed feedback :P

p.s. how many english EU servers are there and how is the games population ?

On a few Posts you can read about HardcoreGanking on PvP-Servers, and with the speed you die when 3 focus you , i think PvP is not fun if you dont like hard ganking action. Btw, you travel fast, but after an attack your speed comes down to runspeed, no way to escape.
Both Servers are medium full when you see the selection, the PvE i play on was far away from full as i know it from other MMO-Starts, max 3-6 who do the same quest, not many Players in the Mainbases..

but if you like the PvP, maybe look directly for a guild on the PvPServer, so you are not on your own
