Does anyone else experience a LONG wait time for the Logo loading screen? For me it will litterally sit there for up to 5 or more minutes before finally allowing me into the character selection screen.

2nd problem, lag. Lots of it...like having a VERY HIGH ms rate in WoW, cept it's now here. My internet ping is fine because I jsut tested it. A friend of mine bought DCUO through direct downloads and he tells me that he experiences NO lag at all. Am I losing my mind or could someone please help me to fix this problem. Or perhaps the problem is Steam? I am very lost and so far no thread I've read (hey that rhymes!) has addressed my problem. (That I can tell.) Anything guys? :(

there was a server shutdown short ago, hope for you that that is causing your Problem.. no lag i´ve read about in the off Forum.. you can log in to station account on sony webside and write a ticket, but i wrote the Ticket 36hoursago and i´m almost waiting^^

Are you running any IP blocking software like PeerBlock? A lot of these lists have Sony servers on them,

It's been the same problem since the start. Not just now. I'm tempted to download this from another site and see if THAT version works because this is ridiculous.

The only "block" I have is AVG free version. That doesn't block anything so it's really confusing the hell out of me. Sigh It just makes no sense. :(

if you have the option to launch the game from a second computer on your intenetconnection, you can see if it´s a problem with your PC or with your ISP/Router

Err...I only have my laptop but it barely supports the lowest setting of WoW so I'm not sure it would handle DCUO very well. >.<

Are there any other options you can think of before going that route? (It would be an insanely long download time.)

I feel sorry for people with these problems, cuz i never had em with MMO's, never had queues, slow connection,isconnects and so on, i can understand is has to be VERY frustrating!!!

Only thing i can think of is taking people's ideas seriously when it comes to IP blocking and software that might help the game's connection. Im no expert in that field, but i know some programs will shut down MMO's and make em sluggish and disconnect often.

AS for running the game, this is a very easy game to max out if u havea decent rig. Laptops isnt meant to be played on unless u own one of the latest gaminglaptops from Alienware,wich i doubt since they cost and arm and one of ur testicles. Look around in techforums and an answers is bound to be given, ur not alone.

My PC has been purposefully designed to run high end games. It takes Crysis at ultra settings flawlessly. I know online games though can be difficult, but even WoW runs at 60fps almost constantly. (With the occasional lag but it's rarely noticeable.)

GTX470 video card, 6gigs of ram, Intel I5, so as far as runnign software it's gtg. Oh and windows 7. So your thoughts on the IP? That MIGHT be it...though I am not sure because the game would run fine (DCUO) for a few minutes before hitting the really bad lag.

what are the chances it's steam related? O.o

I'm having the same issue as far as getting stuck on the "Waiting for World list" screen.

I don't have any in-game lag at all, it runs really well actually.

But yeah... not sure why I get stuck on that screen, fresh install of Win7 Pro, uninstalled my AV software and it did the same thing still.

Anyone else have this issue? It's just annoying wanting to get into the game and having to stare at that screen for about 4-5 mins.
