Hello.
I have a quick question.
Do I have to pay extra for playtime after a purchase of the game[45€]?
Aren't there any 30days free, like in WoW for example?

u need to register your payment details before getting the free month at the start

I'm fairly sure you aren't actually billed for any time until you actually use up your first 30 days. So just stick a pre-paid or something on it and if you don't like it by the end of the 30 days cancel.

oh ok. And if I do that, will they charge money from my credit card after the 30 days? I mean, if I don't want to play it anymore do I still have to pay after these 30 days of free playtime.

If you cancel/remove your card before the 30 days is up, nothing will happen and you won't be charged. Your account will continue to be playable until the game time left on it (Free or Paid) is all used up. And then you will need to set up a subscription or enter a time card to continue playing.

(This is my understanding of it, as 99.99% of sub-based MMO's work exactly like this)

when u set it up, choose the one month subscription, after its completed go to your account for dcuo find the subscription section and choose cancle subscription.
you will be able to play the 30 days without worrying about them taking money, if u like the game and have the funds just re-sub.

Risk what o.0?

Did I miss-word something?

So you need to set up a subscription when you set up your account, once you do you get 30 days of free time added to your account. If you wanted to play safe you can cancel your sub and continue to play until your 30 days are up. and then if you wanted to play past that its as simple as re-adding your credit card or adding a time card to your account and you can continue playing.

The only time they would charge you is if you let your 30 days run out and you leave your subscription active. But you can cancel and remove your card info at any time. 0 risk involved (Unless you count the initial cost of buying the game)

Ok, I set up a subscription and cancelled it again. Now it says I can play until the 13.2 without paying. And there's no information about my credit card in the subscription section, so I don't have to worry that they charge money, I guess, right?^^

you are right. I noticed this aswell, but they simply cant take the money from you CC unless it on the card, and if you cancelled it your still fine.
