i never had to do this before with a cod steam game, but i need to change my computer to my son's computer which has a quad cpu while i only have a dual core cpu. Would some really nice dude tell me what i have to do in order not to lose all my hard earned levels? I could change hard drives if it came to that, but maybe there is an easier way.
thanks for any help, Bry

Black Ops uses the steam cloud (at least the multiplayer does, I'm not 100% sure about the single player). So when you log onto steam on your son's computer, your black ops multiplayer save will automatically be downloaded.

I'd stick your black ops single player file on a USB pen, just incase the steam cloud does not sync it. Go to;

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops

and just copy the players folder.

Steam cloud only saves your configuration settings. Treyarch has their own stat servers which holds your player information only requiring you to login. Nothing stat wise is saved locally for you to have to worry about.

aka you don't have to do anything
