My account was disabled earlier today, and seeing as I received no information at all as to why it was disabled is a bit unnerving. I suggest emailing the accounts owner before or after disabling the account, doesn't really matter as long as they were contacted, after all we put hundreds of dollars worth of games on these accounts, and to have it disabled without receiving any info at all as to why it is disabled, really makes it seem like the guys running steam don't care about its users.

They do that so that those pesky password stealers don't have a template to lure someone into a devious trap.
Also you agreed to this when creating your account:
You acknowledge that Valve is not required to provide you notice before terminating your Subscriptions(s) and/or Account, but it may choose to do so.

I see, that makes sense, people probably get their accounts hijacked more often than transactions go wrong. I guess I should read that sense iv got nothing else to do lol.
