View Full Version : Weapon buying issue after newest patch (Jan 2011)

Well after Black Ops got patched, I'd expected some improvements, but then even more errors/issues occured and the most annoying thing is about the weapon buying issue which keeps on reverting back after purchase. Even so, while I got ~6000 COD Points and buy a weapon for 2000, it counted itself as 5000 COD Points, leaving me with 1000. If you are encountering the same issue, please post in this thread.

I see u prestiged. Did you buy any camos/sight customisations in previous prestiges?

Yes, I did but I don't think this is the cause

they have a patch in the works. its not a simple problem.

omg if camo is also affecting the price the L96A1 will cost me more than 50k cod points next prestige.

LOL, I cannot believe you bought all that camo, I wanted to compare it all and so I just bought it in Combat training, I spend all those COD points on emblems and player card stuff in MP mode (those purchases are permanent). I am up to 7th prestige and still use the m16 with open sights, the only thing I buy is a silencer, and a couple of kill streaks, I have not put an emblem or camo on a weapon since my 2nd prestige.

You should be okay there. I've been plagued with this issue, regularly paying 20k for my spectre but I bought gold camo on my SPAS and when I prestiged again and rebought it, it only cost me 4k.
