Yo,

I was a big fan of The Ship, but dont play it anymore because I never can find anybody, especially Americans. Anyways, I noticed BGT, just wondering if there is that many players on it for me to spend the 5 bucks... preferably American players. I don't see it in the top 100 games being played. That should be a red flag.

Yeah its a serious problem with BGT, I think the main reason for it its because they don't publish this game enough and no one have heard of it.
Like me for example, I haven't heard of it until I saw someone on my friends playing it S:

I love this game but I'm desperate for new maps or some random element to what's already there.

It's really worth the price though. Players are usually hiding in the wood-work like The Ship but don't let that put you off :)

There are usually 2 or 3 rooms of players on the X360 version.;)

The game was abandoned by the devs before it even came out. This was basically just a money grab for the publisher. Better to just move along. There will absolutely not be any new content for this game. It's effectively dead.

Honestly this game can survive without new content if you don't play it every day. It's one of those you play with friends every so often - and for the price what have you got to lose? Just as long as you don't mind playing from time to time.

When it came out I played it non-stop and got tired within a couple of weeks. I had a game with 5 friends last night and it felt just as fresh as the first week because we were all on voice comms and we had a laugh.

I would love to see new content but it's probably never going to happen unless some of the ex devs could wrangle out some mapping tools.

Servers may look empty but there are plenty of organised games going - people soon join, but definitely one for friends

I bought this game months ago, I played it for a while, then I stop playing(just because there are allways other games). Today I was thinking about to buy it as a present for my friend and play toghether, but before buy it I decided to check the servers (in Europe). So sad, it is totally empty. Nobody. Zero.

I am really sorry, the game is original, well done, and very good fun, but sadly nowadays we have so many other options (I have 138 games in my Steam account) that the life of small games can be very short. Moreover, as someone said before, the company closed after releasing this title, and it was not promoted or advertised at all... Now I wonder if there is someone still playing Lead and Gold...

There are quite a few players around. You just have to keep a look out for them. And preferably Friend a few :)

Yeah, don't be discouraged by an empty server list, just pick a server with a good ping for you, and be patient, you'll have some people to play with in no time.
