can't find this issue anywhere else, new problem?

if i mouse over my in-game achievements, a description comes up, if i minimize or close steam, the description comes up on my desktop and i cant get rid of it without bringing steam back up and highlighting it again, then mousing off of it.

anyone else have this problem?
is it fixable or will that be in a future update?

It sounds like you're encountering the stuck tooltips bug. IIRC this was supposed to have been fixed a couple of months ago (http://store.steampowered.com/news/4611/).

I've had this happen too. Recently also if I recall correctly.

Also had the right click menu being rendered behind library window so that i had to use expose to get htem on front, idk where client bugs are supposed to be submitted so I'll just mention it here. ^^

This and many other pathetic bugs are the reason I don't even use Steam anymore. It wont even do the update. I check these forums every couple of weeks only to find that the same old bugs still exist...
