Sims 2 works with the overlay, but when I tried it about 6 months ago it didn't run at 1920x1080. :(

Lol, and I just ordered the rest of the expansion packs from an online store. Guess I'll have to gift 'em!

FINALLY ON STEAM :D

Sucks, just realized the 50% off sale was only until the 3rd or whatever the date was... didn't realize it was so expensive normally.
Should have gotten that now and waited until next month to preorder Homefront instead... FML

Yeah I wish 1 and 2 were on the store. I actually preferred 2 over 3 just for a couple reasons. If they added 1 and 2 with their expansions, Mac support, and Steamworks then I would be a happy camper.

Steamworks is out of the question.... I agree with the expansions and Mac Support though.
And I think 3 should have Mac Support too, as far as I know the CD version works on Mac and so does the EAStore version... but not Steam :S

I was also surprised that the version on Steam, which was a surprise in itself, was only the Windows variant. The game is both for Windows and Mac.

Been waiting for this and while i would love to buy the game, it ain't happening at the current, ludicrously inflated price.

$90 for a pack containing the base game, ALL of the expansions, and both stuff packs is "luducrously inflated?"

For now anyway (about mac support). We've seen a few titles updated for mac support.

I think thats sarcasm - if it is i agree with you, its a pretty good deal - otherwise the other option is going EA (ewwww) or retail and paying full price.
