Freak Production crash

Whenever i try to put a corpse inside the tanks to produce a freak, the game crashes. Have both official, unofficial and bonus cd, and still happens. Anyone else affected or knows about it?

Never heard of that one. Any other crashes before? Used any cheats with your current game?

No, it's a legit game, and all those coprses are rotting in my fridge with nothing better to do. :(

Also, it's the first crash this game has thrown on me. I'm guessing it's a HAMMER conspiracy, but not sure ATM.

Interesting. I was sure it was a post-cheat dump. Try this...

Make sure you have one clear space all the way around the front and sides of the tank. I just tried different combinations of things to force a crash and found with my game, if the freak's exit to the tank is blocked, it will crash the game after the bag goes into the tank, just before the freak exits the tank.

Tried that, didn't work. I'll start a new game, in case the save file is "corrupted" or something and it's unsolvable (which would suck monkey balls).

BTW, the main menu music is awesome.

Well, sorry about that. On the plus side, you get to start a new game! That's the best time in both islands, in my opinion. No pressure at all, take all the time you want to do exactly what you want without those pesky walking body bags infiltrating the base.

Hello!
Try to uncheck read-only options for game folder, subfolders and files.

Fragger, tried to do that just as you posted it, but the dammned windows 7 lets me uncheck the "read only" on properties, i hit accept, and a bar appears, as if it's doing something, but when i check again, the "read only" option is checked again.

Also, now it's not only the freak production, but also the Pendragon hability of one of my henchmen (the one that makes monkeys come out).

Strange thing.
I had this problem before and I fixed it somehow.
Now I was tried to reinstall the game, to make it crash again but game is working fine.
Upload your save game I will try with it.

Your savegames go fine. I load them ok, and am able to produce freaks. Guess it was the savegame and not the engine of the game itself?

There is only one freak that crashes my game....

And he is not coloured blue... XD
