View Full Version : Free version on Steam ?

Since the game is free now, is it possible to get the game from Steam, like other free Steam games (Alien Swarm) and earn achievements ?

I saw the thread, but didn't read it, the title is misleading. I though it's about the number of players. Your answer from that topic about the demo is not going to work for me. There are no achievements if you have the demo.

The free version is available on Steam now, including achievements. :)

Really good news. I don't have this on steam and it just got announced. Can I copy the files I already have and move it to the steam folder, verify cache and validate them or will I have to download the whole game again through steam?

Due to registry links and all the fancy mumbo jumbo that comes with that stuff, I'd start from scratch.

Just do a fresh install via Steam and after you get it working properly, uninstall the non-Steam version.

I was wondering this same thing. I don't mind doing a fresh install but a move would be nicer.
