How do you kill all those trees and druids ?
How do you know what they are conjuring and which spells are suited against them?

Trees hate fire. BURN BABY BURN! I picked up a druid staff and I was able to summon my own ent with lighting+earth :P I think...I dunno though...The game was in a state of crash when I did this. My airship crashed and it said defeated that whole last fight.

Well, when you conjure up your elements, you`ll see them floating around your mage. The same rule applies to all mages, so that`s how you can see what elements they`re about to use.

If they use rain, the best thing to do is freeze them. Other than that, ;) experiment away.

If you just casted something, or otherwise have no elements, quickly throw a direction shield when they try something. They usually do splash damage spells, so it`ll most likely backfire on them or their summoned creatures when it hits the shield.

Shield is a damn good weapon in this game. :/

I used lightning mostly that fight, just Nullify when it starts to Rain, and make VERY sure that you aren't wet when using lightning.

I intend to use Earth Shield more during my next Play through though:
EarthX + Shield + Direct Cast
That will block the Treants and most of the spells for a bit when you prepare something nasty. Like Steam Steam Lightning Lightning Arcane, or such.

I had a the fire sword from the mill, and just ran around smacking trees with it when it was raining, unleashing the wrath of the fire god upon the druids when it wasn't.

Run to the center and grab that thunderbolt book. Cast water immunity on yourself and oneshot all of them with thunderbolt.

In case you didnt know.... any element 4 times + shield means you get a immunity buff for that element.

Doing more than you need to there, you only need one element + shield for immunity.

4 times + shield will actually give you an immunity AURA, which could protect your enemies if they get too close.

rain works very well with area cold.

Just make sure you shield yourself to prevent their rain from soaking you. Just FQAS them, the fight will be over in like 5-10 seconds like most of the game.

I casted Uber shield (Self cast shield) as well as water resist (E_Q) then just cookie cutter-ed. It took 2 beams and i wasn't injured

If nullify could... nullify the treeants would be much much easier... just aim at the druids and make sure that you dont stay wet...
my second playthrough i just cast vortex on them and it was done... 2 seconds battle...

I'm actually not sure how I killed the druids... I was sent into a rage after I saw that they had killed Sir Godber (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJ4uyD6yVdw#t=20m55s).

E Q MMB, F D E shift RMB, F Q A S RMB, spam repeatedly
F Q A S applied to your weapon is nice also.
