View Full Version : How is this?
The trailers failed to tempt me. Mind share your rating or thoughts about this game? Looks like a hidden object seeking games with some mini games like tower defense, kinda wanna hear what people say since Bigfish Games could offer something nicer at lower price. :D

It's hidden objects. It's broken up into 8 chapters and there's a mini-game at the end of each chapter, but for the most part it's hidden objects.
There is a demo, if you're interested. The visuals, music, and story are all really good for a hidden object game - if you like these kinds of games it's for sure worth the $5 asking price.

I don't know, because you cannot skip the cutscenes, and tt doesn't seem to support 16:9 format, which most computer screens has today, and I do not wanna play a game with 2 black bars in both sides of the game window.

The Mishap series is considered revolutionary in the realm of Hidden Object games. While it's true that most of the game is finding hidden objects, each chapter ends with extremely polished, fun, arcade-style mini games. You won't find mini games like these in your average casual HOG game. Mishap 2 includes a space invaders style game, a fishing game, a Guitar Hero style game, a tower defense game, a Zuma style bubble shooter, a time management game, and a Trauma Center style surgery game. There's something for everyone!
And if that doesn't convince you, the quirky art style of the game is enough eye candy to keep me playing. I definitely recommend both Mishap games for both casual gamers looking for something out of the box, and more hardcore gamers looking for something fresh and different.

Well I have the first one and it was a lot of fun. I would imagine 2 will be just as good.

Uh, no, nor should it be that way.

Downloaded tonight. Not much thinking needed to do this game, so it's good for low stress downtime. The graphics are nice, finding the items can be tricky.
I am having trouble getting out of the second chapter; I've completed the riddle, checklist, found the ghosts, created the bot and found all of the ultipro, yet the chapter won't end.
Suggestions?

Same here, but since the game (sadly) doesn't include Steam achievements it's going to stay on my wishlist until a good sale.

Nice game. But I've got a major sound problem. There's a lot of hissing (a bit like an electric shortcut sound)and most sound comes from the back speakers!!?? So it's no joy to play.
Anyone any ideas?

Yeah, me to! Can we get this fixed like now! Or give me my money back. $14.99 and crashes on all 3 of my macs but works flawlessly on my POS PC. Get with the program.

the first Mishap was good...a very casual and easy game, a couple hours to 3 hours....i have 17 hours on it but its because i fell asleep while playing a lot....
im on the fence for mishap 2 though, 15.00 is a lot for a short lived game with rly no replayability
