Sound problems

Is anybody having sound issues with any speaker setup greater than standard stereo , I have 5.1 and theres really no sound for firing or much of anything else.

I have a 5.1 speaker system. I only get sound from Front left and right. I assume there is no 5.1 support only stereo.

Do you have sound only from the front or is it dead silent when you play the game?

Even on stereo, the positional effects on the audio are minimal at best. The sounds give you no indication where things are coming from, nor how far away.
