I have yet to find out how to view the ages of sims (including my sim).
I cannot find any infomation on ages, yet I keep seeing posts on the internet about people talking about the ages of their sims.
Where do you view the age of your sim? In addition, can you view the age of the other computer controled sims?
It might be a stupid question, but I seriously cannot see the age of my sim or any others. All I can see for my sim is a horizontal aging up bar - but it doesn't state the actual age of my sim.

On your selected Sim, go to the "Simology" tab, then hover your pointer over the aging progress bar and that should tell you how far along your Sim is, age wise.

They don't have literal ages. As was said, it uses a meter that fills to show your progress through that "stage" of life (infant, toddler, child, young adult, adult, and elder). How quickly each meter fills, and thus, how long each stage lasts, determines on how long you have the age/life set for in the options.
If you want to give it a "rough translation", if you use "normal" aging, you can count one day to about a year or a little more, since I think Sims live to around like, what, ~90 days in that span?

EDIT: I posted as H3llian07 posted.
Bah, I'd like them to have numerical ages - and the computer controlled sims.

They have no literal or numerical age. My last post explains it.

Hold on.
There are people posting on the internet about the actual ages of their sims - numerical ages. People brag about their oldest sim, etc. How do they see that info?

That's maybe how old your Sims is in sim days.

Thanks for the info guys.
I just wish the game gave them ages - in simple terms.

If they did that, they would have to change half of the game because they use Simoleans I believe, they speak another language, it's a totally different world than real life.

Bragging about your oldest sim is possible because once they become elder, as there is no stage after that (there's death after that), it changes to a bar simply showing how many Sim days old they are.
As for those posting literal numerical ages, I don't know. Maybe they're using days, maybe they're writing stories and make it up for the sake of the story (alot of people do that for legacy's/stories), etc.
