View Full Version : Indie game or not, the game is just bad.

I know I'm going to get torn to shreds, but the fact remains. Indie game or not, it's a game that is clunky, boring and lackluster. Not worth the purchase, I immediately regret buying this.

It shouldn't matter if the studio was indie or not, that doesn't change the fact that the game just isn't up to par with anything. I play quite a few free to play FPS games from indie studios that play much better than this.

I've been enjoying it, and personally, I don't think MW2 was even worth the free rental I used on it... what a waste of a free rental... :/

Free rental? You can't compare a console version of a shooter to a PC game. I can't stand Farcry 2 on console but I love the PC version. Totally different experience.

I believe that is the appeal of Breach though (in reference to boring and lackluster comment). It is a slower, more methodical shooter instead of the more arcade style military shooters that are found elsewhere (CoD, BFBC2, etc). That is what appeals to me about it. It is more of a throwback to older FPS titles, the ones I truly miss.

It is clearly not for everyone though, especially those accustomed to other titles. Both suit different audiences, and Breach appeals to more of a niche group.

Very good points.
I think that must be why I'm also enjoying it so much.

I do like modern arcade style shooters - but this change of pace and different style of play has really captivated me and the thousands of others the leaderboards tell me i have killed so far.

Well, when the console version actually works and it was that bad, then yeah. I've heard that for PC online on both MW2 and BLops, the game is pretty damn close to unplayable. And I'm not going to drop $60 just to see if it works...

Just for everyone here, what rank did you reach?

I'm pretty high now.

I won't lie. When i first played the game i was wondering what on earth I had purchased.

The difference between the people on here loving it and the people crying about it are that those who now enjoy it are getting good exp and winning games.

The ones who don't like it have barely played the game.

But don't you see, if you fix their problems, then they can play it and find out it isn't all that bad and that they were wrong. They are human, and most probably American (which I can say, because I am American)... them admitting to being wrong is worse than them having to kill themselves!

Lolz, I still can't play it, however the game looked good. I could for some reason once connect to a server and get in... I was thinking what the hack did I purchase... I tested the destructible environment but nothing much looked like I was expecting... Still I think I would get the hang of it after playing it for a while like every game. Even with CODMW2 I first thought jesus this isn't my game (which I thought for many years of COD) but now I love it! This looks like it but in another concept. I just would apreciate if I could connect online. Btw my problem is as you could expect: I can't login to any server anymore after the first time I connected. The only thing I truly complain about are the graphics. They aren't important, I know, but here it looked like a game for windows 98... Can be fun at the other hand. I would really like to play it! :( I should look around for more help :)
