Pro Tip and Noob Question

The TF2 items are selling for $40. Do not fall prey to ruthless traders who are trying to get you to give up your tf2 items to them.

I have noticed people coming into the Rift forum here, trying to trade the near worthless Well Spun hat, for the very expensive TF2 in game Rift Promotional Weapons.

It just irks me that they are trying to take advantage of you. Bump this thread up so the greedy liars do not get to make money off unsuspecting people.

The turtle mount is a 60% increase as with all level 20 mounts. However, you will not have to buy it in the game for 2platinum, 58gold. Having it already saves you a bit of cash.

The extra backpack space, I can assume you will be able to increase it. You have 5 bag slots, one of which is your default. By level 25, I have only seen a 10 slot as the next largest (granted they will be higher end game) but expanding your primary is a good benefit.

As for the vanity pet, you can get them in game, however, you will not find the one you get from the collectors/preorder. Those are unique to that offer.

ALSO: The rune you get to apply to weapons, does not go away when you use it.

Hmmm. now i am caught between wanting to save $10 and wanting those backpack slots. I mean 24 is a lot if you are looking at a 10 slot at level 25 (which i am assuming is about half way to max?)

As for the pet, i will be going with the HellHound regardless. It just looks to bad ♥♥♥.

The rune i didn't even know about.
EDIT: Looks like the rune is for all copies order via steam, reg or collected.

Ahhhhh this is a tough decision. I am hungry and could use that $10 for some subway lol.

Okay i opted for the regular edition. realized i would prefer a horse or wolf or something as opposed to the turtle, and the hellhound to the promo pet. Backpack is going to haunt me for a while i imagine, but 12" Chicken and bacon with ranch is the way i have to go.
