Help on 2nd level of demo

Im playing the german demo and unfortunatly i dont speak german (something i one day hope to remedy)
Anyway, in one of the far corners is a guy behind a counter and a room below him then further down(?? view depending) theres a solid wall you cant mine but it has a sparkle aura. How do you get past that stage?
