Can't Launch [ERROR #0a]

I get this error at launch

The game did not properly install on this system.
Please try to install the game again using the installer (DVD or downloaded installer).

If the problem persists, contact Atari technical support.

I updated my gpu drivers.
I did validate the files.
I downloaded the game twice.
I installed the game from my friend's working backup.

I did the exact same things (except for the backup thingy) and I keep getting the damn error. I've been reading on forums and searching for a fix but I can't find any so far. Someone please help.:(

I had the same problem and i didn´t find any solution. 24 hours ago I just reinstalled windows 7 and the problem was solved 100%. Seems that the game needs a totally clean install, if you had installed the beta release or another, maybe the Windows registry was not uncleaned entierly. I tried using CCleaner but the problem persist.
