i have a very important question to ask about the combat in the game(the answer will decide if i buy the game or not)
now from my understanding the way the combat in the first game worked is that you click the enemy and your character will swing at the enemy till it dies(like dragon age orgin) now my question is if the combat is still like this or is it now an action rpg?

Also the combat in the first Witcher wasn't like Dragon Age. You had to click for each attack, there was no auto attack once you picked your target.

...and you have to click at the right time to continue a combo.

wahh?? :o i was trying to find out if it was like origins(click and he'll do the rest) and like the 4 websites i found all said that once you click on an enemy you just sit there waiting till it dies and when i went to go watch some gameplay it looked like it was true. guess i should go give the witcher a try then since the combat isnt like Origins! :D

Yeah, DA and Witcher are both point and click, but they're different after that. Once you start attacking you have to keep clicking in time with your flashing cursor to do combos.

The Witcher 2 will control a little more action like, but it's hard to judge just how much just from videos. You're pointing the camera at enemies instead of clicking on them. In the first game you switch between fast, strong, and group stances before attacking. In the new game you have fast and strong attack buttons. You also control dodges and blocks instead of them previously being automatic based on stats. All of these are different than the first game, but there is still some calculations going on that determine damage so it's not entirely action.
