A tuna sandwich with cottage cheese and a layer of potato chips stuffed in it. :D
Also, Ketchup + Mayo = Fry Sauce. A lot of people that I talk to think it would taste gross, but it's very similar to thousand island dressing.
Also, Peanut Butter + Cool Whip Sammich <--- DELICIOUS!!!!

Fast food fries go well with ice cream. I'm a fan of Wendy's fries + frosty.
Also, bacon or sausages are both great with a little maple syrup, if it happens to slide off the pancakes.

I myself don't do anything too weird. I'm a VERY picky eater and most of my food is pretty bland or typical.

*face palm. Vanilla ice cream and milk are nothing alike in flavor or form, milk and coke? That sounds just like a root beer float! There is something called vanilla :( it's not "plain" , it's actually an amazingly tasty flavor that comes from a plant and is just as fancy or unique as chocolate,
If you think plain and vanilla mean the same thing, then go try both plain and vanilla yogurt and then you'll see ;)
eDIT, Sorry I seem to have misread your post

You are right though. It seems that when a person hears vanilla they correlate that to be plain(or at least bottom of the heap). It is, in fact, a flavour, and a dandy one at that.
