I really like this mutation but there were a few things I noticed during a playthrough and was wondering if others had the same problem.

Bots refuse to give up pills to anybody, ever.

The Sacrifice is unbeatable on single player, you just constantly restart the last level after sacrificing yourself successfully.

I wasn't aware of an issue on The Sacrifice. Thanks for letting me know.

The reason there's way too many Defibs is because Valve used the wrong nut file on accident. Kerry Davis said he'll update it with the correct one on Monday. In the newest version, you will barely find Defibs.

Sure I can tell you, since I made it.

You start with dual-pistols, and med-kits have been replaced with Pills. Adrenaline has also been replaced with Pills. There's no incap, and will die when your health reaches zero.

I like the constant defibs. It keeps the game interesting, though I think the revive time should be extended, to make it more risky. And perhaps temp. health on revive.

This is exactly what L4D/L4D2 should be, got a good sense of Zombie Survival from this.

Ah, I helped test to make this mutation challenging but not too challenging. We set the defibs to be rare to ensure that the survivors had to be careful of their hp, in this mutation every little bit of health lost is that much closer to death. But like Ray said hopfully Monday it will be back to how it was intended, one of my fave mutations for sure. We also made a Death's Door versus on his custom mutation mod, now that's fun.

I was wrong.

This is brilliant. This is why I play this game.

i dunno. i was playing No Mercy with this. there were no defibs ANYWHERE, and repeated late tanks (one on the roof in NM 4, we had to have all 4 go different ways and whichever 3 he didnt chase ran for the saferoom)
even the finale had 4 bottles of pills and nothing else. it was ♥♥♥♥ing IMPOSSIBLE

IMO it was far harder than even realism expert

I thought it was a lot of fun. Finished the parish on expert with only a few defibs. All in all we could have done them without the defibs had we moved faster but we were moving pretty slow and it took it's toll on us.

First mutation I have actually really enjoyed. If you find the defibs an issue you could always just agree not to take them.

Pubbed Advanced Parish. It's pretty amusing. It's kind of like playing on Expert only your less dependent on teammate since zombies don't incap you in 5 hits. Specials an Tanks are actually even more scary than on Expert though as they can kill you quickly.

I wouldn't want to play on Expert without a l33t team though lol. I also think the Defibs are a good thing since you don't respawn. Being dead most of the level isn't all that fun really.

This is REALLY hard to pub even with defibs.. Was on Normal No Mercy and retried the Sewers (at this point we had 2 defibs) over 15 times, and then the Finale at least 8 before quitting. :|

EDIT: Not to say its not fun, I enjoyed it. Its just very challenging and you need at least 2 mics in the lobby to do anything and to keep yourself sane.

You don't need mics in this incredibly easy game

The Sacrifice and No Mercy have absurdly low spawn rates for Defibs for some reason

you just try to finish the Passing in singleplayer then talk , sacrifice is so easy.(I'v Allready Finish , Dark Carnival , Swamp Feaver, Sacrifice,The Passing).

The thing I noticed about this mutation pretty quick, is that its a magnet for TK griefers.

That was more than obvious. Same did "Iron man".

Lol with pubs you need 50000 defibs.

Yeah definitely a mode to be played with friends. Iron man with pubbers was a waste of time, people would wait till you got to the end then blast everyone and jump into a fire. Had three friends and 1 pubber one night and the guy waited till we only needed 2 gas cans on the DeC finale, then shot the guy pouring gas, and the guy protecting him, then jumped into the fire...
I found it funny that he stuck around that long just to grief us. *shrug*

It's really good. Specials are scary again.

On a side note, i saw a lot of defibs on the graveyard yesterday. I enjoyed the irony. :p

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Like I said before, Death's Door will be updated on Monday. Making Defibs harder to find.

Because in real life when fighting zombies you can use defibs to revieve someone who had their guts torn out by a hunter.

better than being able to pick them up 3 times after getting their guts torn out to the same degree

Duct tape and ibuprofen work wonders for disembowelment, shattered ribs, and spinal injuries! I should know, I went to Hollywood Upstairs Medical College!

Also, I have to ask.. does the witch ALWAYS kill 2 people?
Every campaign I've done (And my friend), on both xbox and pc, the witch always kills 2, was that intentional? o.0

If you get too close to her, or get in her way when she runs away after killing the first one she might kill you as well. When she stumbles into you and pushes you, if you can't get out of the way and she keeps pushing you, she might just swipe you down to get you out of the way. The trick is to stay the hell away from her once she gets the first guy. Also, if you light her on fire after she kills someone and runs, she'll re-trigger and come for whoever lit her on fire. You can trade aggro on her with fire, or bile, or just blocking her.

I have seen a witch go for all 4 people when she gets bile bombed as well. It was hilarious. Guy playing Ellis tossed bile on the witch and she went right for Coach who was nearest, Rochelle who was next to him, then Nick who was 20 feet away, and then chased Ellis till the bile wore off. Then Ellis lit her on fire and re-triggered her and she killed him. I wish I had recorded it.

For some reason everyone tries to shoot her or light her on fire and chase her after she kills the one guy. This will sometimes lead to; stumbling into her and getting killed, shooting each other, or setting her off again so she goes after who set her on fire.

I don't mean it's too hard, I mean it really is unbeatable. After 3 completed playthroughs, each time I was sent back to the saferoom rather than credits rolling.
