I'm in the market for a tablet. I need (in priority order):
1) Windows 7
2) A stylus
3) At least six hours of battery life, and
4) Enough performance for light data processing
I looked long and hard at the iPad since it's cheap and lots of people rave about it, but it doesn't have a first-party stylus, can't run Windows apps, and can't run custom apps at all (since everything is tied to the app store). I looked at a few other consumer-level Windows 7 tablets but I need something more than a netbook with a touchscreen. I already have a netbook and it's not fulfilling my needs at the moment.
So I started looking at business class tablets and the Thinkpad seems to be exactly what I need. It has an i7m processor, 4 GB ram, a solid state hard drive, a full keyboard and touchpad under a reversible touchscreen, a large capacitive multitouch screen, and a stylus.
Costs a bit ($1938, with discount) but it's within my budget. So I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Lenovo laptops or tablets - reviews I've looked at for the Thinkpad are pretty solid, but their other models (like the Ideapad) are mixed.
