Message box screwed up! Help Please!

combat spam scrolled by too fast in the window, and I wanted to see if a spell cast went off alright. I dragged the top of the message window upward on the screen looking for the message.

I dragged it to the top of the screen. Now I CANNOT resize it downward!!! I can drag the bottom of the message window up and down and can use the bottom 'corner' drag points.

When I try to drag the top of the msg window, I can see the bottom half of the drag arrow but cannot pull it down.

I loaded from an earlier save and the message window is in the same spot and I am unable to MOVE the window. Standard windows behavior for moving and resizing windows is to be able to drag the window around by click-dragging from inside the window, or to resize from one of the four sides or four corner drag points.

Now the stupid message window covers the other stuff up top. I dont want it there but nothing in the graphics options helps. I switched from full screen to windowed and back. nothing helps.

Can someone PLEASE help me? I am near the end of SOZ and do NOT want to have to delete NWN and reinstall.

Depending on your technical knowledge, there's a few solutions.

1) DELETE the file "nwn2player.ini" in your %USERPROFILE%/Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/ folder
When you next start the game, all customised configurations will be reset to default, includsing chatbox size & position

2) EDIT xml file in your USERPROFILE%/Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/UI folder to reposition/resize the chatbox

3) Change screen resolution.
