View Full Version : Hacked email?

OK, it all started this morning when I couldn't login to my Gmail account through my phone and I just wondered why. Now that I got home, I can clearly see that I sent a mass email to everyone on my list about some kind of website. IDK. I won't click on it though and would advise no one to try the website out unless you have a junk computer to try it out with.

Just a quick note, I did not send anyone anything this morning so I don't know why this crap was sent. And when I read the email sent back because it failed, this is what I got.

Was someone screwing with my account? I didn't send this at all...

Change your email, put up a firewall if you haven't already, don't sign up for random stuff on the internet...

Why not use the tools Google provides to help check up on this?

Towards the bottom of the screen, under the storage bar and above the copyright notice, there's a line.

"Last account activity: 10 minutes ago at this IP"

Just to the right of that is a link marked "Details", click it and you can go back and see what IP addresses have accessed the account recently, in order to check for unusual activity.

Additionally, malware/spyware scan, virus scan, change all passwords, update all security etc.

We can still see your email address in the title bar, lol. ;)
