Since I've been online with L4D2 and got Riding my Surviour-Did you hear that Jockey? I don't wanna go back online and change it, There should be a way Valve could let Xbox users keep some of them, like have a top 4-5 fav ones and when they wanna get a new one just click the one you want to replace........ or have the list of already out Mutations to pick and choose from and the Newest HAS to be there. Well If anyone thinks this is a good idea don't be afried to post about here.

I think it's because free content like that would send Microsoft and its subsidiaries back into the Overworld.

The Entity would not stand back and let this stuff happen free of charge.

You can, by playing on PC. Microsoft is content on milking you for as much money as possible. It's what they do.

Considering their a MONEY-MAKING BUSINESS WITH THOUSANDS OF EMPLOYEES, I think the supposed "milking" part is kind of essential. Especially on their PRIVATE, DEDICATED and FULLY SUPPORTED servers.
It's like you guys are blissfully ignorant of how a company works... You don't start one up to give product away for free.

Ignoramuses.

I don't know, the other companies don't seem to have the need to charge their customers for hefty amounts for basic online services. Or force game developers to put a price tag on DLC or on updates that exceed certain size. Or restrict greatly what the game developers are allowed to do on the platform. (For example, this is the reason to why there's not going to be Steam on Xbox 360 with Portal 2, unlike the PS3 version that gets Steam cross-platform play and quick updates through Steam.)

Valve gives products away for free all the time. Alien Swarm comes to mind. Near monthly updates to team fortress 2, dlc packs for l4d2... They are even giving a free pc copy of portal 2 to anyone who purchases a copy on ps3.

Valve is one of the most successful companies in gaming, and their wealth is rising. Just saying, maybe it is you who doesn't understand how to successfully run a company.
