Got next semesters schedule lined up. English II, XHTML, Intro to IT, and Programming Essentials (C++). Can't say I'm not excited ^_^/
But, one question. This is my second quarter and my first with 'tech' classes. Anything I should know before heading in?

Do your homework and pay attention, have fun on Thursday night and a good weekend.
Remember to balance social and academic. Too much social and you will end up like me, physics degree working in administrative work, too much academic and you will end up a 50 yr old virgin.
Balance my friend...balance.

Beat up the toughest kid in the class on the first day to establish dominance. Other then that, have fun!

Don't buy your text books until after the first lecture. Just in case the lecturer changes them!

I should have been more specific. Anything I should know before heading into these tech classes? How much background information should I know before starting them? Good Advice though. I Have made it so I have fri/sat/sun off. =)

I wouldn't worry at all about the 'Intro to IT', but for C++, why not start out right here: http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/ . The more of this you familiarize yourself with, the easier you will find it in class.
These aren't very simple concepts, but if you're even vaguely familiar with them, you will find it much easier in your first programming class than the 100% ignorant people will.
This all depends on the pace and rigor of the course, but usually the first 2 introductory 'proper' (ones required for CS majors, that is) programming classes are quite fast-paced, so that's why initial familiarity helps so much.

Buy and sell your books on Amazon. I was always too lazy to do it. But this last semester (my last semester as well) I bought and sold my books on Amazon. Spent like $368 got back like $350. It was amazing!

Yes!! Also, sometimes you can buy used books at incredible rates online and actually sell them for more, locally, like through Craigslist.

You'll be fine. Bored, if anything.
