Playing CoD1 and it's crashing out every 5-15 minutes. Did a forum search and it might be an ATI driver issue -- a possible fix is to use an older driver "atioglxx.dll", but where can I get a copy? I tried the gamefront and filefront links, but both of those come up "file not found". I found another possible place to get the file, but they present a pre-download CAPTCHA and cleverly reduce their bandwidth bill by refusing to accept correct answers.

http://www.dlldll.com/atioglxx.dll_download.html

There's your download. Also, make sure you run the game in compatibility mode (if you have Windows 7 or Vista) Run it as Windows XP SP2, run as administrator, and disable desktop composition. That should fix most problems.

Yeah, dlldll.com is the one that won't accept my CAPTCHA answers.

I even tried different browsers, different computers, and a different site/network, and all I could ever get from dlldll.com is "Wrong verification code!".
