Most games will say that selling in-game items is illegal. OK, so it's acceptable in TF2 because of trade, but when people start asking for cash it gets out of hand. I've just been looking at all the articles saying "hat giveaway" and "selling hat" for the RIFT Well-spun hat. Is it really that bad? If you don't want it, just delete it, or save it for when you buy the game.
It's not as if it's taking up a major amount of space in your backpacks, is it? I'm not against selling these things, but I am against all the spam. On recent pages I've seen posts with 0 replies - this just shows how uninterested people are. You've got a hat code - great! Chances are you got the Riftwalker achievement just for the code!
There's so many of these things that they're not rare. So please don't make it sound like it's something special ^_^
