My Steam account got banned

My Steam acc got banned because someone hacked my account and used hack`s. I could not get on my account for 2 weeks. Can i get unbanned?:confused:

Your own fault basically. You gave away your account details, willingly or unwillingly.

Either by scam or keyloggers. You should look after your account better.

If it makes you feel better: contact support and tell them. But don't rely on getting your ac back

There's nothing anyone can do for you here. These are Steam Users forums, you should contact Steam Support and report the hack, but as stated in the Sticky Thread at the top of these forums marked "VAC Information Thread", you will not get unbanned. Your account was (as with all VAC incidents) banned permanently due to a violation of the agreement you made according to the terms and conditions you subscribed to. Regardless of fault, you accepted responsibility of your own account.

Same thing has happen to me, sorry you're screwed, but at least try to make a support ticket and work something out.

it sucks, but there is nothing you can do. valve almost never reverse bans, even if your accounct was hacked.
As for giving away account details.that normally what happens. but not always.
my isp was hacked and they then reset a load of peoples steam passwords to steal accounts. i got it back without bans, but goes to show that sometimes there is nothing you can do to prevent it.

In the event that a hijacked Steam account is banned by the Valve Anti-Cheat System, Steam Support can not remove the ban. (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2347-QDFN-4366)
