Hey people,

Ok i'm not far into the game at all really...!

I've decided to venture off with the swamp people and I'm currently running around doing errands and stuff for people.

As a Character i've ventured down the road of Archery and have trained up to level 3...!

NOW....i cant help but think that i have done a major mistake because even though I specialise in Archery im still using my sword and shield purely because the bow I have is poop :(

Has anyone else ventured down the Archery path? and if so does it get good? because im wanting to start again as i feel archery may be a bad choice.

Also...just a quicke...whats one of the best ways to get money? ;)

thanks in advance

Personally, I think swords are wayyyyy overpowered and make the game too easy, but they're definitely fun to use, especially if it's your first playthrough.

When I chose archery my alternate weapon was axe/warhammers. I used axe/hammer alot more until I got the seond to the last bow in the game and my archery level was 7+. Now all small enemies seem to go in one shot.

Archery isnt the best option for main weapon, but you can just start putting points into sword now if you'd like.

As for extra money, since your not much of a mage following the bandit/swamp people's path you can sell most of you mana plants/potions for extra cash. Might want to look at an alchemy faq to see exactly which ones to sell that you wont use, if you're using alchemy.

Honestly, just exploring everywhere will get you a good amount of junk to sell. I usually just kept the best equipment and sold the rest.

PS-Which chapter are you on?

Cheers for the info jeffro...!

Ive just done a raid on the one of the monasteries where i had to kill 11 white robes for the Don...so im not far into the game at all i don't think.

My bro has chosen the path of the mages and he laughs at the amount of money i get compared to him ;)

But yeah i will deffo start selling all my crap for sure :p and i think i will take your advice and pump some points into sword or axe mastery.
