Light FX

I have an Alienware M11X revision 1 and when I enable "light fx" it changes all my lights to yellow, and turns them back to normal when I disable it, but I'm not sure what else it is supposed to do if anything? The yellow lights don't ever seem to change once in the game (at least through the first level??? I'm not sure mine is working properly? Has anyone else got an alienware is so --- what does Light FX do for you? I'm playing the demo currently - just in case the demo light fx is broken or something.

I thought it was going to be for http://www.ambx.philips.com/en/us/Ambx_Overview.html, I have these though and the option just defaults to false and I can't change it.
