No Headstart if u plan to use Gametimecards

Gametimecards are not available for purchase right now, but u have to choose a payment method after creating your Account. If u plan 2 play only with Gametimecards you wont be able to play until the game releases in Europe and Cards are available.

Thanks for this Cpt - I was looking around Tesco's electronics department, and found the WoW/Runescape gamtime cards but no Rift ones. You might as well pay for the monthly contract, and cancel it before your free thirty days is up.

By doing this, you are not charged until the thirty-day trial is over. The trial is only available when you've chosen the payment plan.

Hope those who want to use gametime cards are reading this (me being one of them) ^_^

To do so u need a valid credit card OR a charged PayPal-Account. Since i have no credit card and my Paypal-Account is empty i cant take part at the headstart, because money transfer to Paypal will take a few workdays .. by then the Headstart is over.

In my Opinion its just odd that u have to "pay" something BEFORE u can use your free 30 days

It struck me the same as well. Why pay for something (not like it in some cases) and then not be charged for it? It's pretty silly. But I guess they wanna know that they've got your money ready.

Ask the support, they will activate your account. I will never understand why some people are using the forum instead of the support if they have problems?:confused:

oh i did ... they never gave me an answer ... and im not the only one. Btw. i asked in a normal, polite way, so there was no reason for them not answering the question. (I did exactly what they suggested in their own Forum) Whatever .. i will never touch this Game again. (And i just want 2 mention that i played Warhammer Online,EVE Online, etc. and had no problems at all)
Tried to phone them now, since they r not able to write ... even the telephone number given doesnt exist ... this game is a fu**ing nightmare at getting support
