CAN SOME ONE BE BANNED BY VAC FOR NO REASON OR BY MISTAKE.. ? HOW I CAN I AVOID IT OTHER THEN OPENING HACKS IN GAME. VAC BANS PLAYER IN WHICH WAY.. ? CAUSE I AM AFRAID TO GET VAC BAN FOR NO REASON. I GOT ALOT OF GAMES. ITS ANNOYING TO HAVE VAC BAN ON MY PROFILE.:o

If you aren't VAC banned and you don't/didn't cheat or use any illegal modification (I.E: Console unlocker in MW2) then you have nothing to worry about.

If you were to get banned 100% by mistake you would be able to contact support and get the ban reverse, but mistake bans are extremely rare.
Really just need to keep your account secure, make sure it doesn't get stolen and no one else uses cheats on it.

I dont know how rare it is but i got banned for no reason i concacted support and posted a threat so I only need to wait for them to answer me back

You got banned for A reason, if it was due to a virus contact support at the link above and they will most likely remove it.

You CANNOT be banned for no reason, SOMETHING triggered VAC whether or not it's a valid reason is another thing.

We don't know exactly. It is a closely guarded secret, and it will stay that way. We do knowsuspect that
It uses randomly, delayed bans to make it harder for cheat developers to know which of their cheats have been detected.
VAC only issues bans for confirmed cheats and modifications to certain (blacklisted) core files, and can tell the difference between a modified and corrupted file.
there have only ever been two occasions when bans have been handed out in error. in both cases VAC was working and banning correctly, but the cause was a bad update to VAC's cheat definitions. in both cases the problem was rectified and the bans reversed.
Valve are always improving and updating VAC and its list of known cheats


I also assume that VAC also flags suspected/possible cheats for attention of the development team who can then review it and decide if it needs adding to the next update or not. Or at least that's the way I would have set it up.

Long story short, Don't cheat or do anything dodgy, and you will never have to worry about getting VAC banned.

i report a cheater using hacks in CS 1.6 i got demo his STEAM ID and posted to steam (via email) they didn't ban him..

Reports of cheaters are not accepted because demos/screenshots can be faked. Report the actual cheats to moderators.
