VAC: I still don't get it, people.

Ok, if you mod/hack ONE gane, why does damn VAC have to ban you from ALL GAMES that have a protection?! i found an epic horror map on gmod and i cant even play on it cuz of VAC. please, cmon people! i dont see why i shouldnt be able to play ANYTHING online because of one incident in a game i dont even like anymore! i hate counterstrike, and i only need it for Garrys Mod textures. Seriously?! its not right to completely remove someone ability to play online, even in games that arent technically made by Valve! i know im coming on a little harsh, but im sorry, this just isnt fair! come on. i know you admins will say "no ban lift". but i dont give a ♥♥♥♥. my family barely has enough money to allow me to buy the games for the first time around! and because of an incident in one game, i have to buy EVERYTHING AGAIN? to quote Bill, "Bull. Doesn't matter. The point is that obviously cannot be trusted online. When you cheat, make sure you know what the consequences are. In this case being banned from all games sharing the same engine.

Don't create a thread in which you complain about how VAC works, just because you got banned and got denied access to some of your games.

Then you should have done some research. Practically all multiplayer games have some form of Anti-Cheat. When joining a VAC secure server in source games, it says so right there in the loading screen:

Note, this server is VAC secured. Cheating will result in a permanent ban

i know im coming on a little harsh, but im sorry, this just isnt fair!

It's also not fair when someone who does cheat comes into a server I'm playing on and thinks it's fun to disrupt the game either forcing me to leave the server or put up with it until admin can ban them.

EXTREMELY hard to believe when every Vac enabled server displays a message saying "This server is VAC enabled Cheating will result in a permanent ban" or something along those lines while you connect to the server.
