When you're account is VAC banned what does the steam message say when you log in? Does it say "account disabled" etc. etc. like when you're account is hacked or stolen or doe sit say "VAC banned" or something

If your account is VAC banned then you receive a message when trying to connect to a secure server. The message says something like... Connection refused due to cheating infraction, or something like that.

Oh cool. SO I'm not VAC banned. Someone just stole my account... again...

The question is how? It isn't that easy, especially if your email address is validated. Maybe the culprit has access to your email account. Ever thought about that?

If it's been disabled then there is more going on. They don't just disable accounts when your account is stolen. They claim to have no way of know where you've logged in from (which is complete BS obviously).

How's it b.s.? Just don't log the IP or any other location-specific information.

My account was stolen once and they disabled it. I just got it back. It was stolen again.

Changing your password to both your e-mail and Steam account is a smart move...as well as updating then scanning your PC for virii (preferably doing this step first before changing passwords).
