I know AA3 "works", as in "functions", on Windows 7. But given the problems I have actually scoring critical hits on other players, even when they are standing still in front of me, I have to wonder if there is some aspect of AA3 netcode that does not work properly in Windows 7 (x64). Even when my ping is low relative to other players, the server lags badly in processing my shots. They routinely kill me with 2-3 rounds effortlessly, often while they are RUNNING(!), but my gun has little or no effect with less than 10 or 15 rounds, fired from a stationary, prepared, position for max accuracy.

Even when I sneak up behind an enemy who doesn't know I'm there, and aim carefully, my gun has little effect. I can put 10 rds into him and still he sometimes turns around and kills me. As to my connection, my ping tests and speed tests all come back fine (cable internet).

All I ask, when I put my sight on someone in front of me and fire, my rounds should get counted, but it feels like the server drops at least half of the action.

I have never had an issue with it and ive had AA3 since the start. well ok so thats a lie the SAW was one issue but I wasnt the only one so it wasnt a W7 specific bug.

Oh and AA3 has its own GREAT forums that are viewed more often than the steam forums.

Oh i know exactly what he's talking about. fire 200 rounds from a saw and you end up with a tracing around the person instead of him laying on the ground taking the coward's way out. I don't think its o/s specific though.
