Im going to buy a retail copy, But im wondering if i can activate it on steam?
Am i be able to download the game from steam? Achievement thing?
Does it say "In Non-Steam Game" at the friends panel?

-No, it says you are in Rift if you DL it through the steam client.

Beats me. You have to download the full game client from Trion anyway. Steam doesn't change anything because it's Trion's MMO, so there's no achievements or friends tracking I think. ^_^

The game cannot be activated on steam.

You cannot download the game from steam without buying it on steam.

You would have to add this as a non-steam game shortcut.
